An updated edition of the book was published in 2024 under the title Who Is Jesus Christ? And What Is His Purpose in Our Lives?

The author firmly believes that after an individual accepts and receives Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, the Gospel and its foundational biblical teachings—specifically who Jesus Christ is—must be taught through sound scriptural doctrine from both the Old and New Testaments.
In this book, the author explains that anyone who holds a ministry office, such as pastor or teacher, must “study to show themselves approved unto God.” In other words, one must be fully prepared to carry out the work of Jesus’ ministry under the direction of the Holy Spirit, and no other.
Who Is Jesus Christ? And What Is His Purpose in Our Lives? guides readers through the foundational truths of the earth’s beginning, created by Elohim (God) as revealed in the Old Testament, and God’s operations within that early civilization. Readers will also discover that without the Old Testament, there would be no foretelling of the New Testament, nor a full understanding of the Messiah—Jesus Christ—who came to earth as humanity’s Savior, Restorer, and Redeemer from the disobedience of Adam, the first man.
This book is an excellent resource for new believers, teachers and preachers of the Word of God, ministry leaders, parents, Sunday school teachers, missionaries, and students in college or university who may lack formal ministry training and need sound biblical principles and scriptural doctrine to defend their faith in Jesus Christ.
In these times, Christians must possess a complete revelation of the Gospel for themselves and not rely solely on Sunday lessons or once-a-week church services. This compact yet powerful book presents scriptural and doctrinal order, along with foundational principles of Christ’s teachings, for believers to apply in the present era of grace, forgiveness, love, and mercy. Practical examples are provided throughout the book.
Topics addressed include:
1. Who is a sinner? Anyone within God’s creation who has not been redeemed from Adam’s sin through Jesus Christ’s death on the cross and the shedding of His blood.
2. Salvation for the sinner and repentance for the believer—what is the difference?
An explanation of the blood covenant between God and Jesus, in which Jesus died on the cross as the perfect Man for humanity’s sins. Was this sacrifice for sinners to receive eternal life? What does it mean that the Bible is a blood covenant book? What role does the believer play—receiving salvation as a gift or working for salvation?
3. Righteousness in Christ: Why, upon confessing and receiving Jesus as Savior, believers are called the righteousness of God—justified, sanctified, and holy unto Him.
4. Judgment and authority: Is it the role of fivefold ministry leaders to render eternal judgment, or is this God’s responsibility at the Great White Throne Judgment? (Revelation 20:15)
5. The infilling and baptism of the Holy Spirit: What it is and why it is essential for believers.
6. Tithes and offerings in today’s Church: Should believers operate under the covenant of prosperity and multiplication given to Abraham and passed through Melchizedek to Jesus Christ, or under the temporary Levitical system established through Aaron during the Mosaic Law?
(a) Why Scripture states that Melchizedek had no recorded father or mother, while Aaron did.
7. Eternal life and eternal death: A biblical explanation of Satan, hell, and the eternal destiny of humanity.
8. Prayer and spiritual authority: Why praying in tongues and intercessory prayer are vital to the believer’s spiritual life.
Believers are called daily to express their faith, declare and decree the truths of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and understand and defend their purpose in Him. How do you know you truly have a relationship with Christ? Who are you in Christ Jesus?
By reading this book, readers will gain knowledge, confidence, and clarity to accurately teach and preach the Word of God, and to understand who Jesus Christ is and what His purpose is in our lives, with boldness empowered by the Holy Spirit so that people know what the Gospel means: The Gospel is Jesus Christ's life, existence, revelation, work, teaching, miracle sign and wonders while in the earth
